My daughter Paige got married this year.
She’s never been one to go easy on me…her wedding cake request was no different as she wanted a cake that resembled wood grain to match her country-themed venue. I was a bit intimidated at first but it was actually fun to create!
Creating ‘tree rings’ was a blast!
The best part was that all of my imperfections (there were a LOT) only enhanced the imperfections of natural wood.
